Erica Cerra (born October 31 1979) is an Canadian actress who is best recognized for her role as the character of Deputy Jo Lupo on the Syfy show Eureka. Cerra is born of Italian descent as well as a native of Vancouver in British Columbia. At the age 8 Cerra was captivated by her passion for acting. She appeared in countless commercials while a young child. Following a time her career took a break from acting. At the age of 21, she returned to acting. the age of 22, she returned. Vancouver Lifestyles Magazine named her among the top Vancouver's young actresses of 2005. Cerra has starred as deputy Jo Lupo in Eureka. This Syfy Series was broadcasted by Syfy between 2007 and 2012. In 2006, she also appeared as the lead actress in the music video for the Michael Buble song Save the Last Dance for Me. Cerra is known for her prominent roles on several highly acclaimed and critically-acclaimed TV series, including Battlestar Galactica and The L Word. The credits on her film include Blade:Trinity, starring Wesley Snipes and Ben Affleck, and Man About Town. The face and body of Cerra were used to model Ashley Williams, a character from her role in the Mass Effect video game franchise. Khondabi noted that she had married Joey Scribner Howard, her love from high school, who works as a mechanical engineer within the energy utilities industry. Khondabi said she and Joey began their relationship in the middle of school at Greenwood Christian School and were acquaintances for several years prior to when they began to date as senior in high school. Howard completed his studies at Dutch Fork High School in Irmo However, Khondabi and Howard kept in touch. They then started dating. Khondabi graduated from Emerald High School, graduating in 2007 and also of The University of South Carolina where she graduated with a degree in broadcast journalism. Additionally, she studied sports and entertainment. Joey is also a USC student. They have one fur baby the dog Liam. Khondabi shared with us she believes that Joey as well as her are foodies.
