Elizabeth Reaser is an American television, film and stage actor, best known for her performances in movies such as The Twilight Saga and series such as Greys Anatomy and True Detective. Elizabeth was raised and born in the Michigan coast of the US. Ever since she was little she longed to become an actor. In high school and her participation in the drama division of Juilliard School and graduated with an education in fine arts. She made her full-fledged television debut in the form of a role as a guest on the cult show, The Sopranos, and then played in several successful series such as The Jury, Hack, and Standoff. The role of Alice Alden from the television show Saved was a career-defining moment for her. In the following years, she was a part of Greys Anatomy, The Good Wife, and True Detective. In films, she was in Liberal Arts, One and Two as well as in every installment of The Twilight Saga.

Since her early years, Jessica expressed interest in the fields of television and film. The modeling industry was the start of her career. An Australian director of casting approached her for auditions. She was chosen to play "Kiki," the main character in Lightning Point/Alien Surf Girls. The years that followed she's played tiny parts in Peter Pan and Aquamarine. She played Cleopatra on the Netflix series Roman Empire's second season. The actress starred as Cleopatra during Season 2 of Netflix's Original series Roman Empire. Jessica was selected by a global search to play the leading role in The Outpost. The producers asked for a short video of her acting as well as MMA. They asked if Jessica could perform sword fighting, so she was able to send them a clip of sword combat. Jessica was able to gone through the script before filming her first weapon lesson. According to Jonathan Glassner, the stunt team was amazed by the level of training she received during her initial lesson. This was the first time she had acted in a US major role as she has previously appeared in Australian films. Jessica is able to embody her strong female role thanks to her love of combat, mixed martial arts abilities as well as her horse riding, weapon and firearms abilities, as well as her athletic ability. In Australia she learnt muay Thai and boxing. Jake Stormoen came across a wandering pet when shooting Season 4. The one dog turned out to be part of a litter of stray puppies who were able to take place in the studios. Jessica fostered both puppies.
